How to build houses in the US

I would like to tell you about the construction of houses in the United States.

. First, it makes me terribly furious when these houses are called cardboard. From the tree they are! From the usual same pine as native Russian huts. Drywall (which is also not a cardboard, there is 1mm and 10–20mm of gypsum) goes mainly for internal work. 

Empty wooden frames are filled with glass wool, foam plastic or something similar, from the outside plywood + film + plastic siding (usually), inside plaster + plaster + paint. This sandwich of 15–20 mm in thermal conductivity makes your brickwork 4 bricks thick. In the right places also used bars with special impregnation and sheets of gypsum with additional water-repellent properties.

By the way, all the bars (folk “tubayfory”) and so with the impregnation, which very thoroughly changes the properties of the tree with time. It was possible once to redraw the multi-room 3-storey holovu in 1915. It really is all petrified! The boards were sawn with a creak and a wild mat by circulars with an expense of 1 lap 10 times to buzz. (Usually there are enough jigsaws) 

In a brigade, 5–10 people usually, the box is completely driven out in 3 weeks – a month, but without internal drivol (drywall), the incoming electrician and the incoming plumber continue to bend and boil the necessary pipes and wires, then the crew of mex-gypsum teams which for 2-5 days all sew and plaster.

There are also big brigades, which are simultaneously driven by a full cycle of houses. Usually, the developer of the municipality knocks out some piece of land of 500×500 meters, and, in a couple of months, a new quarter with beautiful asphalt paths, houses and trees rushed. 

Well, the overall speed of construction and ease of construction. 
In theory, you can build a house alone for three months alone, there are no special technical processes and 10-ton masonry bricks. There is no concept of shrinkage of the foundation, there is no hemorrhoids with immuring and dilution of electricians and plumbing. 
Again, the simplicity of redevelopment. Here you sit in the evening in front of the TV under the beer and how you knocked! And you are tired of the size of the bedroom and garage – to move any walls really in half a day is absolutely not dusty work.
Or the new TV does not fit on the wall in the hall – without problems, increase the hall, instead of putting the box diagonally in your concrete bunker. 

In addition, the transfer of real estate inherited in the United States with a fair tax problems. It turns out to be cheaper to sell the house and buy it back by paying taxes on the transaction. As a result of this and other traditions (such as the expulsion of youngsters from home upon reaching the age of majority), by the end of life an American sells his house, buying a tour of the country and continents in a pajama suit and content in a decent nursing home. And the next owners will probably want to change something, or even rebuild it altogether. Yes, faster.

In general, a typical family in the United States never thinks about leaving a house as a legacy. Affected by increased mobility of the American family. They do not bind any registration and other nonsense. It is very easy to get a job in another city / state and to move there quietly. Family houses have only people with “old” capital.
